The Mariana Trench
I have been working on an information report on the Mariana trench and the report is below
Do you think the Pacific ocean is deep? Wait till you hear about the Mariana trench where water pressure is just the beginning. did you know that if you put Mt Everest in the Mariana trench there will still be three kilometers of water left? In this report, you will see how deep and dangerous the Mariana trench really is….
You think great whites are big wait till you hear about Megalodon, the gigantic ancestor of modern-day great white sharks. Scientists say that the Megalodon dove deep down and then went all the way up and slammed and stunned their prey. Their bite was no better, it’s bite force was 18 tonnes of force, which is enough to snap steel like a toothpick! The Meg preyed on large whales and sometimes they even ate each other which is canabalissim. It lived in the early Miocene to the Late Pliocene period it was a ferocious predator
In the Mariana trench, the creatures were completely crazy they had transparent heads and glow to attract prey the two that do this are the barrelhead fish and the anglerfish the barrelhead fish has eyes that look up and they move left, right, back and forth and the anglerfish sits in wait of prey passing by
At the bottom of the Mariana trench, there are hot chimney-like smokers and the smoke is boiling hot and if you get touched by it you will be burned to a definite and absolute crisp. once an anglerfish got in the hot boiling and terrifying path of the black smokers.
Well, do you want to see the Mariana trench? I know I do there might be stuff that you or me never even knew about like even the bravest person would be scared so beware when you ask about going I this report has taught you all about the magically mistyicly Mariana trench

Kiwi can learning| Managing emotions mindfulness
If you want to know how to manage emotions then read my post
There are many ways to deal with sadness the best way is to talk to someone or have some fun! When you are happy and joyful try to not go nuts and take deep breaths so that you do not get out of control. When you are scared talk to someone and tell them how you feel after you will feel much better.when you are disgusted just remember it is ok to try new things. when you are angry just let it all out but not in a harmful way if that does not work the take ten deep breaths

Fern teams in NZ
Tane Mahuta
I would love to visit the wonderful Lord of the Forest Tane Mahuta.
I think it would be wonderful to see all the native trees on the walk and to see how big I am next to Tane Mahuta (I think I would be able to hide behind the tree and not be seen!).
I would love to try and count all Tane Mahuta's branches.
That is why I would want to visit the great Lord of the Forest.

My Hometown
My hometown is Christchurch, New Zealand.
Christchurch is the biggest city in the South Island and is also known as The Garden City.
It is called The Garden City because it has lots of beautiful parks, gardens and tree lined streets. I live close to a park and love going over there to bike on the trails, play on the playground and play roller hockey on the tennis courts.
Another great thing is that it doesn't take long to get to the beaches. We love going boogie boarding and catching the big waves. Our favourite beach for boogie boarding is New Brighton. At New Brighton they also have a great playground with a whale pool and cool new water play area. There are also cool climbing nets and a pirate ship.
Christchurch is mostly flat but does have the Port Hills which had a big fire a couple of years ago that started on my birthday! It took two months before the fire was properly out.
Another thing Christchurch has been known for in the last nine years is earthquakes. The first one in September 2010 (when I was a baby) was at the Greendale fault and caused lots of damage to buildings. The next big one was February 2011 which caused further damage to buildings but also took lots of lives. The earthquakes has meant a lot of rebuilding in the city which includes the new Margaret Mahy playground which is one of my favourite places to go to.

Fun facts of NZ
New Zealanders are crazy about cars! In 2018 there were 3.4 million cars registered but only 4.8 million people living there! This makes NZ one of the countries that has the most cars registered per person.
New Zealand is part of the Pacific Rim of Fire. They even have an actual active volcano called Mount Ruapehu. Mount Ruapehu is in the middle of the North Island.
Did you know that the movies ‘Once were Warriors’, ‘The Whale Rider’, ‘The Piano’ and the ‘Lord of the Rings’ trilogy were filmed in New Zealand? I'd say that's a pretty decent success for New Zealand cinema.
